Dr. Ari David Gross

Ari Gross received the BS degree in Mathematics from Johns Hopkins
University in 1982, the MS degree in Computer Science from the University
of Maryland in 1986, and the PhD in Computer Science from Columbia
University in 1992. He is currently an Associate
Professor of Computer Science at the University Graduate Center and Queens College,
City University of New York, and directs research in the Computational Vision
and Perception Laboratory. His research interests include digital geometry,
discrete and continuous shape models, model-based image compression, and mathematical sensor modeling.
